One of the largest annual distillers festivals in the country, PROOF Washington, happened this past weekend in Seattle. To commemorate this special event, we produced a limited-edition, cask-strength release of American Single Malt Whiskey to offer to festival guests.

We left the event happy and tired — and carrying a limited supply of the release back to the tasting room.

Straight from the Cask
This special release was distilled from 100% pale malted barley and matured for 29 months in a full-size, charred, new American Oak barrel (Cask 187). It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 128 proof. 100 bottles were produced.

The whiskey offers aromas of fresh cooked caramel, baked apple, and flan, leading to flavors of cocoa, cigar wrapper, and fruit leather. It finishes with notes of spiced apple cider and citrus.
